The Salvador Dalí Museum welcomes all visitors. If there are accommodations that would make your visit more enjoyable, please let us know. [Contact Us]

The museum's galleries are wheelchair accessible, and a limited number of wheelchairs are available for use in the museum. There are designated accessible parking spaces located in the blacktop parking lots immediately adjacent to the museum's north and south sides.

The museum's current building was designed and constructed according to the accessibility standards of 1982. In the course of planning for future expansions and renovations, the Museum is committed to a building providing full access to all. Please note the limitations of our current facility in the meantime:
  • Restrooms - Designated public restrooms are located at the rear of the main galleries. While the entrances conform to standards for width, stalls do not have a 5 x 5 turning radius or space enough for a side-transfer. There is a 31-inch distance between grab bars and 38 inches between the front of the toilet and the stall door. Doors with handles open outwards.

  • Primary Entrance - Double doors with no center support bar provide a wide enough entrance to the museum store, although doors open outward and cannot be opened by remote or by closed fist.

  • Water fountains are accessible.

  • Gallery labels, public relations materials, educational materials, A Self-Guided Tour of the Salvador Dalí Museum, and other printed materials can be made available on disk or in large-print formats with advance notice.

  • With advance notice, the museum can provide Tailored Tours with A.S.L. interpreters. For more information, please see the Gallery Tours section.
